The Clifton, a new 12-storey, 18-unit luxury condominium off 124th Street, has already sold three-quarters of its units since breaking ground in March, with prices reaching as high as $9.6 million for full-floor units.
Developed by Edmonton's Autograph Group, the boutique building originally planned 20 units but was redesigned to ensure no floor has more than two units, allowing some buyers to combine adjacent units. Six units remain available, priced between $2.85 million and $5.8 million.
The smallest units start at 1,728 square feet; larger units range from 2,490 to 3,461 square feet. Penthouses are approximately 4,500 square feet. Most remaining units are three-bedroom offerings with ensuites for each bedroom, floor-to-ceiling windows with river valley views, expansive terraces with inset heaters, high-end appliances (Miele, Wolf, Sub-Zero), and full laundry rooms.
According to Ryan Debler, senior vice-president of sales for Sotheby's International Realty Canada, "A million-dollar price tag isn't sticker shock in Edmonton anymore." The project is resonating with long-time area residents seeking lock-and-leave living without sacrificing the feel of a traditional home.
The building includes amenities on the main floor: a generously sized lobby with personal concierge, state-of-the-art fitness room, secure bike room, private guest suite, and courtyard with pergola, fire table, and outdoor kitchen. Possession is scheduled for March 2028.
Edmonton's luxury market continues to draw serious capital.
