A 46-year-old delivery driver was injured May 26 when a man stole from his van and brandished a knife near 102 Street and 104 Avenue.

Edmonton police are looking for a suspect and a witness related to an armed robbery downtown on May 26.

Around 3:30 p.m., a man reached into a parked delivery van at a loading dock near 102 Street and 104 Avenue to steal an item. The 46-year-old driver chased the suspect, who allegedly turned around and attempted to stab the driver with a knife before punching him and fleeing.

The driver was taken to hospital by police with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have been unable to locate a witness who may have recorded video of the incident. This person is not believed to have been involved in the robbery; police want to speak with them solely as a witness.
