Alberta RCMP have charged a 26-year-old St. Albert man with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and luring a child under 16 following an investigation that began in March.
The investigation started after the parents of a youth reported that an adult was having an inappropriate relationship with their child. Over the course of the investigation, police learned that several youth between 13 and 16 had allegedly had contact with the man since the fall of 2025. One additional victim was confirmed.
RCMP have taken Eric Mark Simmons into custody. Police say Simmons would supply alcohol and drugs to the youths in exchange for "hangouts." He used the Snapchat handles ericsimmons1738 and ericsimmons9484, and police say there may be other accounts.
"It is believed that there may be more victims," police said in a release.
