Broadway with Love, a two-act tribute show presented by the Lyric Theatre Singers and directed by Jonathan Patterson, concluded its run at Concordia Theatre on June 13. The production honoured Bob Bachelor, the beloved founder and director of the Lyric Theatre Singers.

The show drew from 19 musicals including Les Misérables, Pocahontas, Into the Woods, and Smash. Forty singers performed numbers with distinct styles—some delivered as full choir pieces like "Once Upon a Time" from All American, while others recreated full Broadway moments with dancers suspended in the air, intricate choreography, and comedy. Standout performances included a duo singing "Lovely" from Putting it Together, the dancing in "Brotherhood of Man" from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and "Show Off" from The Drowsy Chaperone, in which the lead—described as a famous actress soon to be married—claimed to want to step away from the spotlight while commandeering the stage, signing autographs and returning for an encore.

Each of the 40 singers brought distinct talent and life outside theatre: engineers, students, and retired grandparents. Their shared love for performance was visible throughout.
