Raw breaded chicken and fish products recalled over missing cooking instructions at five Viande à bas prix locations

Quebec's agriculture ministry is warning customers against consuming seven breaded poultry and seafood products sold by Viande à bas prix because the packaging lacks critical safety information: the notice that products are raw and instructions for safe cooking.
The affected products are: Croquettes McDo (1 kg), Croquette de Poulet Animaux (1 kg), Burger de Goberge Panée (individual), Junior Épicé (1 kg), Filet de Poulet (1 kg), Poulet Pop-Corn (2 kg), Poulet Tempura (individual), and Bouchées de Fruits de Mer Panées (individual). All items came frozen in transparent plastic bags.
The products were sold at five locations: the main store at 188 Boulevard de L'Assomption in Repentigny, plus stores in Terrebonne, Joliette, Sainte-Julienne, and Saint-Eustache. The company has agreed to issue this alert as a precaution.
Consumption of raw or undercooked poultry poses health risks. The safe internal cooking temperature for poultry-based products is 74 degrees Celsius. If you have any of these products, cook them thoroughly before eating. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, cramping, or diarrhoea develop after consuming these items, seek medical attention.
