MAPAQ and Les Aliments Kim Phat, located at 3733 rue Jarry Est in Montréal, issued a public warning Wednesday for two pastry products containing undeclared allergens.
The affected products are Mini Danoise au Framboise and Mini Danoise au Fromage, both sold in 12-unit transparent plastic containers at room temperature. All lots are sold without label mention of milk, eggs, or soya — three allergens present in the pastries. The products are sold at the Kim Phat establishment at 3733 rue Jarry Est and at all other Kim Phat locations in Montréal and Brossard.
The warning is classified as class 1 and issued as a precautionary measure by agreement between the company and MAPAQ. It concerns only people with allergies to milk, eggs, or soya. People with the product in possession are advised not to consume it. As of September 3, no allergic reaction cases associated with these products have been reported to MAPAQ.
