Three artists are stepping into the spotlight at this year's Francos festival, each bringing their own energy to the festival's main stages.
Gab Bouchard, who has become the "discreet triumph" of the Lake-Saint-Jean sound, will perform at 21h on the Rogers stage at Place des Festivals. The singer-songwriter filled the MTelus a second time in April and is now climbing onto the Francos' highest podium.
Luiza, a Brittany-born singer-songwriter, will take the Loto-Québec stage at Le Parterre at 18h. She sang on the French summer hit "Soleil bleu" with the pop-reggae duo Bleu Soleil in 2025, and this appearance marks her first visit to Quebec. She's performing songs from her debut album, released in April.
VioletT Pi, the iconoclastic singer-songwriter, performs at 21h30 on the Petit Parterre Spotify stage with new material from "Mythologie de la dérape," an album that the publication describes as deserving of the Félix award for album artwork—a photo by Jules Bédard.
