Montréal's concert season is in full swing, and the next few months are shaping up to be musically significant. The city's top venues—the Bell Centre, Place des Arts in the Quartier des Spectacles, and Place Bell in Laval—are hosting superstar tours and legacy acts.
A$AP Rocky is bringing his "Don't Be Dumb" tour to the Bell Centre on June 1. The rapper's fourth studio album racked up over one million pre-saves on Spotify, making it hip-hop's most pre-saved album. With a career total of more than 25 billion streams, Rocky isn't short on momentum.
Australian pop-rock foursome 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) hit the Bell Centre on June 3 for their "Everyone's a Star!" tour. The band has racked up more than seven billion streams since their 2011 inception, making them one of the most successful Aussie music acts in history.
Ne-Yo and Akon are co-headlining on June 26, turning the Bell Centre into the city's biggest old-school R&B dance club. Their "Nights Like This" global tour promises era-defining hits, club classics, slow jams, and sing-along anthems.
Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire team up for the "Sing a Song All Night Long" tour on July 5. Richie brings 125 million albums sold and a wall of awards; Earth, Wind & Fire adds 100 million records sold and nine Grammy Awards to the bill.
Tickets for all shows are available through the venues' websites and major ticketing platforms. Whether you're catching the latest hip-hop or reliving the 2000s R&B era, there's something for everyone across the next month.
