Montrealers heading west on Highway 30 through Brossard this weekend should expect detours. A section of Highway 30 westbound will be rerouted to the service road between Exit 67 and the Highway 10 entrance from Friday at 10 p.m. through Saturday at 9 p.m.
The closure allows crews to repair expansion joints on the overpass above Highway 10. The Ministry of Transport warns that congestion is likely in the area, particularly during the Saturday morning commute. Anyone travelling through should allow extra time and monitor quebec511.info for real-time updates before heading out.
Work may be postponed, extended, or cancelled if weather or operational constraints make it unsafe to proceed. The ministry recommends downloading the Quebec 511 mobile app to receive notifications about traffic changes.
