A 38-year-old cyclist is in critical condition after being struck by two vehicles in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve on Monday afternoon.

According to Montreal Police, the collision occurred around 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Davidson and Notre-Dame Streets. The cyclist was hit by a first vehicle, struck the ground, and was then hit by a second vehicle heading north on Davidson.

He was transported to hospital in critical condition. The drivers involved in the collision were not injured.

Police set up a perimeter Monday to conduct their investigation. Roads remained closed into the evening.
