A 29-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious lower-body injuries in a three-vehicle collision on Friday evening, July 10, in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension.

Montreal police responded around 8:20 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of Boulevard de l'Acadie and Rue Saint-Roch following multiple 911 calls. The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital. By about 10 p.m., medical officials confirmed his condition had stabilized and that his life was no longer in danger, according to SPVM spokesperson Johany Charland.

Police said a sedan was traveling south on Boulevard de l'Acadie when it turned onto Rue Saint-Roch and collided with the oncoming motorcycle. The impact caused the sedan to strike a second vehicle that was stopped on Saint-Roch Street. The sedan driver, a 69-year-old man, and the second vehicle's driver, a 29-year-old man, were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
