Air Transat will begin operating nonstop flights between Montreal and Aruba from December 12, 2026 to April 3, 2027. The carrier will run weekly Saturday flights with a flight time of 5 hours and 20 minutes, offering Montreal residents a direct route to the Caribbean island destination.

The seasonal service connects to Queen Beatrix International Airport, serving Aruba's capital, Oranjestad. The island sits outside the hurricane belt and draws visitors with white-sand beaches, colourful Dutch-style architecture, and year-round sunshine. Aruba markets itself as "One Happy Island" to tourists seeking warm-weather escapes during winter months.

The route adds to Air Transat's growing network of seasonal Caribbean connections from Montreal, giving travelers another direct option for winter getaways without layovers.
