Two men arrived at CHUM with gunshot wounds Monday, sparking an investigation into a shooting near the Anjou interchange. The 37-year-old is in critical condition; the 36-year-old is stable.

Police initially investigated the shooting near the Anjou interchange. On Tuesday night, investigators, crime scene technicians, and a canine unit searched for evidence at the junction of Highway 25 north and Highway 40, closing part of the highway during the operation. The roadway has since reopened.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing, with police seeking information about the circumstances of the shooting.

This follows other recent shootings in the region. In June, HOC reported a man was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in Laval. In September, a man was hospitalized after an armed assault near Drummond and René-Lévesque.
