Montrealers kicked off Grand Prix weekend Friday under blue skies and warm temperatures, with forecasts favoring outdoor plans through Saturday before the clouds move in for Sunday's main event.

Environment Canada is calling for sunshine Friday with a high near 20 Celsius, then clear skies overnight dropping to around 7 degrees. Saturday stays mostly sunny for much of the day, although clouds will thicken in the afternoon, with a high of 21 Celsius. That's your window for paddock walks and pre-race exploration.

Sunday tells a different story. Rain is expected to move into the city, which could complicate conditions on the track and affect viewing strategies for fans planning to stake out spots around the circuit. Saturday night will be cloudy with a low around 12 Celsius.

If you're catching the races in person, Saturday is your best bet for comfortable conditions. Come Sunday, bring layers and decide whether you're hardy enough for wet-weather racing.
