Man Stabbed in RDP, Police Search for Suspects
A 49-year-old victim was found with multiple stab wounds Monday night in Rivière-des-Prairies; investigators pursuing leads.
Montreal police responded to a 911 call at around 9:15 p.m. Monday on Élie-Beauregard Avenue near Perras Boulevard after a man was found unconscious with stab wounds to his upper and lower body.
The 49-year-old victim was transported to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Officers arrived to find the suspects had already fled the scene; no arrests have been made as of Monday night.
The canine unit was deployed to assist in tracking the suspects. Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the SPVM or Crime Stoppers.
