A man was taken to hospital after a reported stabbing near Bank and McLeod streets in Centretown on Tuesday, August 4 morning.
Paramedics responded to a call at 9:45 a.m. and found the man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Ottawa Paramedic Service personnel stabilized his condition at the scene and during transport to the hospital, where he arrived in serious but stable condition.
Ottawa Police Service officers responded and gathered evidence at two crime scenes that were connected — one near the corner of Bank and McLeod, and a second between Argyle and Flora streets on Bank Street. Officers remained on scene conducting an investigation. Crime scene tape cordoned off sidewalks in both locations as police redirected pedestrians to alternate routes.
