Ottawa police are investigating a stabbing that occurred near the intersection of Daly Avenue and Nicholas Street in the downtown Rideau area on August 4 and are asking the public to help identify those responsible.
Police said a male victim was transported to hospital in critical condition at approximately 9:45 p.m. that evening. Investigators are trying to identify a group of about 16 males who were apparently involved in the incident.
In photos released Friday, August 28, the men appeared to be young, some dressed in athletic clothing and others in button-down shirts. Police did not specify what kind of weapon was used or provide an update on the victim's current condition.
