Child approached by stranger in vehicle near Munster Centre

Ottawa police are investigating after four children under 12 were approached by a man in an SUV who made inappropriate sexual comments on June 17.

Ottawa police are investigating an incident in which four children under age 12 were approached by an unknown man driving a sport utility vehicle near the Munster Community Centre on June 17.

The man made inappropriate sexual comments toward the children before leaving the area. There were no reported injuries and no physical contact, police said.

Investigators are continuing to interview those involved. The man has not been identified.
