Jeremy Finn, a 53-year-old Stittsville massage therapist, has been re-arrested and charged with three additional counts of sexual assault, Ontario Provincial Police announced Wednesday.
OPP's investigation began July 11 after someone came forward to report a sexual assault that occurred in April at a business in Beckwith Township. Finn was released from custody and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
Finn's history shows a pattern of disciplinary action. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario revoked his massage licence for six months in January 2023 following findings of professional misconduct. The college's disciplinary decision cited "long-standing boundary violations" and an "inappropriate relationship" with a client, noting that Finn "engaged in behaviour that violated the physical integrity of your client" while exploiting "your position of trust towards your client while they were in a vulnerable state."
In December 2021, the college had already required Finn to complete education or remediation after a report or complaint was raised against him.
Following the July charges, the college placed Finn under an Undertaking that prohibits him from practising massage therapy in Ontario.
