A 42-year-old physiotherapist is facing two counts of sexual assault following a police investigation into allegations involving patients, with investigators warning that additional victims may come forward.

Bharat Sekhri was charged after alleged offences occurred while he was employed as a licensed physiotherapist. His employment ended September 16, 2026.

Sekhri's last known workplace was Pro Physio & Sports Medicine Centres Pro Plus, located at 3570 Strandherd Dr. in Barrhaven. He also worked at several other companies since 2018 in Kanata, Nepean and downtown Ottawa, with employment history confirmed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

The Ottawa Police Service says it believes there may be victims with more information and is urging anyone with details to contact police. The charges have not been proven in court.
