The O-Train's Line 4 between South Keys Station and Ottawa International Airport will see weekend wait times double starting June 28, according to OC Transpo general manager Rick Leary. Trains will run every 24 minutes instead of every 12 minutes on weekends as the transit authority works to stabilize staffing through hiring and training.

The temporary schedule adjustment is expected to extend into the fall. Weekend frequency could increase back to every 12 minutes if an event is being held at the Cohere Centre near Uplands Station. Bus Route 105, which runs 24 hours a day between St-Laurent Station and the airport, will continue as an alternate. OC Transpo is also taking on a preventive maintenance campaign this summer to prepare the bus fleet for September ridership and harsh winter weather, with reduced frequency on some routes.
