Ottawa police seek man in connection with two indecent acts in Heron Park

Ottawa police are seeking the public's help identifying a man in connection with two indecent acts in the Heron Park neighbourhood.
The first incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on August 29, 2026, along a pathway near the 1500 block of Clover Street. A woman walking on the pathway was followed by a man who, after she stopped and looked back, exposed himself and began masturbating.
The second incident was reported at approximately 10:26 p.m. on September 3, 2026, near the intersection of Bank Street and Heron Road. A man matching the same description was observed masturbating while looking into the window of a residence. Officers responded but did not locate him.
Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his mid-20s, tall, wearing black jogging pants and a grey hooded sweatshirt, and carrying a black pouch.
OPS is asking area residents and businesses to review any surveillance, doorbell camera, or dashcam video from the dates and times of the incidents.
