Ottawa Police are searching for a man who assaulted someone on Michael Cowpland Drive on Saturday afternoon. At about 3 p.m. on June 6, the victim was approached by a cyclist riding a black mountain bike. The man made racial slurs, threatened the victim, and then assaulted him before leaving the scene.

The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Police described the suspect as white, in his 20s or 30s, about six feet tall with a medium build and short curly black hair. He was wearing black jeans and a black T-shirt at the time.
