Thunderstorms expected Thursday night ahead of heat wave pushing toward 40°C

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday night as temperatures reach 28°C. A heat wave is set to arrive Monday with highs above 30°C and humidity making it feel closer to 40°C.

Thunderstorms and scattered showers are possible Thursday, July 9 night as highs reach 28°C, with wet conditions expected to continue into Friday morning.

Conditions will clear by midday Friday, setting up a sunny, warm weekend. Saturday and Sunday will feature mainly clear skies with highs of 28°C and 29°C respectively, along with reduced humidity.

A heat wave is expected to arrive Monday with a high of 30°C and a return of humidity. Tuesday's high could reach 31°C, with the humidex feeling close to 40°C. Storm risk returns Monday as well.
