Two new public elementary schools are opening their doors across the Ottawa region this fall, part of a province-wide expansion that adds schools and expands six others.
École élémentaire publique Cassiopée in Ottawa and École élémentaire publique L'Aventure in Orléans will welcome students, with combined provincial funding of $50.9 million. Cassiopée received $29.4 million in total funding, while L'Aventure received $21.5 million.
The Ontario Newsroom announcement includes a broader capital investment across school boards. Funding ranges widely across the province — from the $8.3 million Savant Lake Public School in northwestern Ontario to the $72.3 million Cedar Valley Secondary School in Oshawa.
