The affected products are Alasko Whole Raspberries (frozen), sold in 1 kg bags with UPC 6 95058 00205 4, and Alasko IQF Whole Raspberries in 5 kg cases (5 x 1 kg) with UPC 1 069505 800205 1. Both products carry lot number SY25314, purchase order number 138602, and a best-before date of November 10, 2027.
The contaminated raspberries were distributed across Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. They reached both store shelves and food service providers.
The CFIA instructs consumers not to eat the affected products and to either dispose of them or return them to the retailer. Norovirus symptoms typically appear 12 hours to 2 days after exposure and include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach cramps.
