Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo bars recalled across Canada over undeclared pistachio

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a class-one recall of Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo candy bars due to undeclared pistachio and reported reactions from consumers.

The recall affects Cadbury brand Dairy Milk Oreo bars sold individually and in 12-packs with universal product codes 0 61200 01445 7 and 0 61200 01444 0.

A class-one recall designation means there is a high risk that consuming the product may lead to serious health problems or death. The CFIA is advising consumers to check their kitchens for the recalled products and not consume them if they are allergic or sensitive to pistachios, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
