The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public's help locating 29-year-old Scott McInnes of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, wanted for allegedly breaching his release conditions.

McInnes is believed to have removed his electronic monitoring bracelet. Police say his loved ones have reason to fear for his safety.

Investigators believe he may be travelling in a black 2017 Volkswagen Golf bearing veteran licence plate 077 PCB. He was last seen around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25, in the area of Zouave Street in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

McInnes is described as 1.72 metres (5-foot-8) tall, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with a white "The North Face" logo, grey pants, and a dark-coloured cap.

Anyone who sees McInnes is asked not to approach him and to call 911. Information can also be provided confidentially to the Sûreté du Québec's Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
