Two Fort McMurray men wanted in armed home invasion south of Fort McMurray
Wood Buffalo RCMP are searching for Jeremy Lacorde and Leighton Haineault, both 35, who allegedly entered a home on Gregoire Lake Reserve on July 9 and assaulted the victim at gunpoint.

Wood Buffalo RCMP are searching for two suspects involved in a home invasion that occurred in the early hours of July 9 at a residence on Gregoire Lake Reserve, south of Fort McMurray.
According to an RCMP release Thursday, two armed men entered the home and assaulted the victim at gunpoint. They demanded the victim provide their phone and money before fleeing the scene on a black side by side. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
An extensive search of the area failed to locate the two men. However, a subsequent investigation identified the suspects as Jeremy Lacorde and Leighton Haineault, both 35-year-old Fort McMurray males.
Haineault is facing two charges: robbery with a firearm as accessory after the fact and two counts of fail to comply with release order. Lacorde is facing multiple assault charges including robbery with a firearm, two counts of theft under $5000, and fail to comply with release order.
Police say both suspects are on the loose and are known to carry weapons. Lacorde and Haineault frequent the Fort McKay, Fort McMurray, and Lac La Biche areas.
