Banh Mi Nana, the viral Markham banh mì shop known for selling out daily, is bringing its single-item menu to Toronto. The Nam family, which operates popular Vietnamese restaurants across Markham and Thornhill, has announced a new Banh Mi Nana location coming soon near Yonge and Finch.
The concept has proven unstoppable since opening in Markham in summer 2025. On opening day alone, the shop sold 2,000 sandwiches. Its habit of regularly selling out has created the kind of buzz typically reserved for celebrity chef openings.
What sets Banh Mi Nana apart: every element of their banh mì — the only item on the menu — is made from scratch in-house. The bread, the cold cuts, the pork floss and even the distinctive banh mì butter are all prepared on-site, a level of attention to detail that few competitors match.

But Banh Mi Nana's commitment to making everything from the ground up gives it a clear edge.
