The Dirty Laundry on Queen West is about to get a holiday makeover. Starting Nov. 16, the bar at 1186 Queen St. W. will become A Dirttty Little Xmas, a festive cocktail pop-up that runs through Dec. 30.

The Dirty Laundry opened in late spring 2026 and has quickly become one of the city's favourite new bars, known for cheap drinks, an aesthetic atmosphere and a Tex-Mex menu with plenty of gluten-free options. For the holiday run, the room gets decked out in kitschy Christmas decor from floor to ceiling.

The new cocktail menu runs $13 to $22 and goes well beyond spiked eggnog. The Santa's Sack mixes deer musk, amber, leather and smoked pine with clarified whiskey for a drink that tastes like sharing cigars in Santa's study after a long night of deliveries. For a savoury option, the Thanksgiving Dinner is built on the martini and its holiday feast: Brussels sprout gin, cranberry syrup, bone broth and sweet potato foam.

The food menu gets holiday additions too, including shareable fondue platters, pigs in a blanket and an Xmas treat platter, all added to the bar's existing snack menu.

The pop-up joins a crowded field of Toronto holiday bars, including Civil Liberties' Miracle Bar and Papi Chulo's Mistletoes and Margaritas.
