Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse at 81 Bay St. will host London's Hawksmoor for three nights, Nov. 3 through 5, in a six-course dinner. The collaboration is part of The Rare Tour, a series that pairs steakhouses from opposite sides of the world.

Jacobs & Co. has been named among the World's 101 Best Steakhouses three years running, ranking 51st, and is described as the only North American restaurant to make the list three years in a row. Hawksmoor is ranked 13th and was named the world's best steakhouse in 2022. Founded in 2006, it operates 15 locations across the U.K., Ireland and the U.S.A. Jacobs & Co. has been open for nearly 20 years, and Linny's is the other Toronto steakhouse on the list.

The menu draws on Hawksmoor's British beef and Jacobs & Co.'s international steak program. Executive Chef Danny McCallum said the two restaurants share "a real kinship" in how they source and age beef and in their focus on hospitality. Hawksmoor Executive Chef Matt Brown said his team has "admired Jacobs & Co. for a long time."

Dinner is $250 per person. An optional wine pairing is $175, and a zero-proof pairing is $70. Reservations are open now through OpenTable.

The source does not say whether the collaboration will return beyond these three nights, or what dishes are on the six-course menu.
