Toronto's summer food festival is here. Summerlicious, the city's annual celebration of discounted dining, launches Friday, July 3, and runs through July 18, offering three-course lunch and dinner menus at below-market prices across more than 230 restaurants.
Lunch menus range from $20 to $55, while dinner menus span $25 to $75. Mayor Olivia Chow officially kicked off the program Friday at Pii Nong Thai, one of the participating restaurants located near Jaye Robinson Park on the east side.
More than 30 new restaurants are participating this year compared to 2025, the city said. Nearly three-quarters of participants are offering vegetarian three-course meals, and nearly half are providing gluten-free options.
The program, created to support local restaurants through slower periods, has served more than 8 million meals since its launch in 2003, generating over $353 million in economic activity for Toronto restaurants. Summerlicious arrives as the World Cup's final match in Toronto wrapped this week, with Chow encouraging locals to "taste the world in a city."
