At the Toronto Harbourfront, where thousands converge daily for the FIFA World Cup fan zone, a mobile dessert shop is running out of stock almost every afternoon.

Sweet Minis, a Toronto-based business that started as a wedding pop-up in 2024, has parked its instantly recognizable Airstream trailer at Harbourfront Centre through July 11. The timing couldn't be better: the shop sits steps from The Canada Soccer House, dead center in the tournament crush.

The viral draw right now is scoopable cookies—dough made fresh daily, scooped into a cup, topped with ice cream and chocolate drizzle. The dessert disappears regularly, forcing the team to close the line before evening.

Sweet Minis began as mini pancakes topped with fresh fruit, candy, syrups, and whipped cream. In 2025, the operation upgraded to the Airstream and expanded the menu to include Dubai chocolate-strawberry cups, frothy milkshakes, and flavoured lemonade, hitting festivals across the GTA all summer.

Now, in 2026, the shop is reaching a new scale. The Harbourfront residency through July 11 taps unprecedented foot traffic—and even if scoopable cookies sell out, the full lineup of mini pancakes, waffles, matcha, and lemonade keeps the line moving. The shop opens daily; arriving early beats regret.
