Baldwin Street's restaurants, cafes, and shops are taking over the block this Sunday, June 28, for the second annual Baldwin Village Block Party — a neighbourhood festival celebrating the short, densely packed stretch between McCaul and Beverly that punches above its weight in the city's food scene.
Repeat participants include Butter & Blue, Carbonic Coffee, Koh Lipe, Rooms Coffee, and Yunnan Noodle Shack. First-timers joining the lineup are Alfie's, Omai Rice Bar, Petite Lune, J&G Chicken, and Pepper Meets Pepper. Beyond food, WNDRLND — a curated collection of apparel, art and accessories — and Lychuu Lychuu, an arts and cultural space, will also participate.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with live painting, music, and local artisan vendors filling the street between meals. Baldwin Village has become a go-to neighbourhood for restaurants that frequently trend on social media, making it an ideal setting for a street festival that feels more intimate than larger events like Taste of Little Italy or Danforth.
