Canada's largest South Asian festival is back and bigger than ever. Bollywood Monster Mashup, now in its 16th year, is expanding to three full days for the first time, with programming across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Celebration Square in Mississauga.

The free festival draws up to 80,000 guests annually and returns July 24-26 with expanded offerings. More than 40 food vendors are already confirmed to serve momos, pav bhaji, shawarma, mango lassis, and dishes spanning every corner of South Asia. South Asian fashion vendors will also line the grounds, letting you shop while you snack.

New this year: eating competitions where contestants race against the clock to devour select dishes for big prizes and bragging rights. SuperDogs, a high-energy canine stunt show packed with impressive tricks, returns as a major draw for dog lovers. Bollywood-themed selfie stations inspired by iconic movie moments offer the perfect photo op.

The festival has welcomed well-known Bollywood stars over the years, including actress Sunny Leone and playback singer Jyotica Tangri. While this year's special guest lineup hasn't been announced yet, organizers are already teasing live entertainment on Instagram.

Programming runs 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Celebration Square, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga. It's the kind of festival that packs the whole city's summer into one weekend.
