Toronto's Pride weekend kicks into high gear Saturday with multiple events that will reshape downtown traffic through Monday morning.

The Pride Street Fair runs from 8 a.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Monday, closing parts of Church and Wellesley streets in the Village. The Street Fair hosts vendors, concerts, and a celebration atmosphere throughout the three-day span.

The Pride Dyke March takes place Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the north end of the Street Fair along Hayden Street at Church Street, with a step-off at 2 p.m. The march will proceed down Hayden from Yonge to Church, then along Yonge from Bloor East to Gould, Gould from Yonge to Church, and Church from Gould back to Hayden. Full closures are in effect from 1 p.m. until the march concludes, anticipated around 6 p.m.

Sunday's Pride Parade is the weekend's centrepiece. Parade formation begins at Rosedale Valley Road at 8 a.m., with initial closures from Park Road to Bayview Avenue. At 11 a.m., four more streets close: Church from Yonge to Bloor East, Park Road from Rosedale Valley to Bloor East, Asquith Avenue from Yonge to Park Road, and Collier Street from Yonge to Church. At noon, Bloor West (Bay to Ted Rogers Way), Yonge (Church to Queen East), Dundas West (University to Victoria), and Bay (Queen to Dundas) join the closure list.

Most major roads are expected to reopen near 8 p.m. Sunday. Plan your commute accordingly—detours will be widespread, but the celebration draws tens of thousands to the city's downtown core.
