Veld Music Festival returns to Downsview Park this weekend with top-tier EDM lineup

Veld Music Festival returns to Toronto this weekend, bringing three days of electronic dance music to Downsview Park from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2.

One-day passes start at $310, and general admission three-day passes cost $490. The festival will feature some of the world's most respected EDM and trance artists.

Friday's headliners include Armin Van Buuren, a Dutch DJ who has been spinning records since 1996 and has been named the number one DJ in the world five times by DJ Mag. His trance music is designed to have dramatic builds and drops. Also performing Friday is FISHER (Paul Nicholas Fisher), an Australian producer and DJ ranked number seven in the world by DJ Mag in 2025. He gained U.S. popularity in 2018 with the single "Losing It," which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.

Saturday features London trio Above & Beyond, composed of English DJs Jono Grant and Tony McGuiness and Finnish DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Two of their singles, "We're All We Need" and "Northern Soul," have been nominated for Grammy Awards. Also performing Saturday is Illenium, who has released six studio albums since 2008, with the most recent being Odyssey in February 2026. He has remixed tracks for Taylor Swift, Halsey, The Chainsmokers, and Lana Del Rey.

Closing out Veld on Sunday is Kx5, a collaboration between Ontario's own Deadmau5 (born in Niagara Falls and producing for nearly 30 years) and Chicago-born DJ Kaskade. Deadmau5's 2010 LP 4×4=12 spent 66 weeks on the Billboard 200. Kaskade was voted America's Best DJ.
