Toronto has multiple spots to catch fireworks on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, with displays lighting up parks across the city.
Major parks hosting fireworks starting at 10 p.m. include Milliken Park, Centennial Park, Stan Wadlow Park, Ashbridges Bay Park, and Amesbury Park. Bring picnic chairs and a blanket to get comfortable for the show.
If you want to make a full day of Canada Day celebrations, the Yonge North York Canada Day Celebration takes place at Mel Lastman Square beginning at 12 p.m., featuring dance parties, vendor markets, and food stalls before wrapping up with fireworks at 10 p.m.
While Nathan Phillips Square and Queen's Park will host day-long festivities honouring the country, neither will have fireworks displays in the evening.
Waterfront viewing options include Sugar Beach, Harbour Square Park, Sherbourne Common Park, Toronto Music Garden, and HTO Park — all offering views of the sky as the celebration unfolds.
Canada's Wonderland is also hosting its annual fireworks display on July 1 at 10 p.m. as part of an expanded entertainment lineup for its 2026 summer season.
