Man shot dead in Brampton shooting Sunday afternoon; police seek two suspects

A man is dead and investigators are looking for two suspects after a shooting in Brampton on Sunday, July 5, around 3:40 p.m. in the area of Earlsbridge Boulevard and Edenbrook Hill Drive. Peel police received a call reporting the shooting and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Two male suspects wearing dark clothing are believed to have fled the area on foot. After searching the area, police said they did not believe there was any threat to public safety. Police are asking anyone with information or video of the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
