Man arrested in Malvern stabbing; victim treated for non-life-threatening injuries

Police responded to Sewells and Neilson Roads just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. A suspect was arrested at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

A man in his 40s was stabbed in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon and rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to Sewells and Neilson Roads in the Malvern area just before 4 p.m. A suspect was arrested at the scene. Toronto Police have not released the identity of either the suspect or the victim, and say the investigation is ongoing. Charges laid against the arrested suspect have not yet been announced.

This stabbing adds to a pattern of violence in Scarborough.
