Four arrested in Woodbine Beach stabbing that left two injured

Two 17-year-olds and two 18-year-olds have been charged after a fight at the east-end beach last Friday left victims with non-life-threatening injuries.

Four people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing at Woodbine Beach on Friday evening that left two victims injured.

Police responded to reports of a fight just before 9 p.m. south of Lake Shore Boulevard East and west of Woodbine Avenue. Investigators say two victims were approached by a group of suspects, and a verbal and physical altercation followed. One suspect allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed one of the victims. Both were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two 17-year-old males from Toronto have been charged with two counts of assault causing bodily harm. One of them is also facing an attempt murder charge and appeared in court Thursday. The other is scheduled to appear July 8.

Two 18-year-olds, Rabeea Ziadah and Katchig Daneil, both of Toronto, have been charged with two counts of assault causing bodily harm. They are scheduled to appear September 3.
