Police seek suspect in unprovoked East Danforth stabbing
A random attack on Sunday left a victim with serious injuries. Police describe the suspect as a man in his late 20s, around 5'10", wearing a plaid sweater.

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after an unprovoked stabbing in East Danforth on Sunday, June 28.
The incident occurred in the Danforth Avenue and Main Street area around 12:45 p.m. The suspect approached a person from behind and stabbed them in the back, then fled the area.
The victim, whose age and gender have not been released, was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the victim and suspect did not know each other and the attack appeared random.
The suspect is believed to be in his late 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark plaid sweater and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police.
