Fire crews responded to Billy Bishop Airport on Saturday afternoon after a fuel truck flipped on its side, spilling fuel across the tarmac.
Toronto Fire Services arrived to find the truck already on its side. Crews stopped the leak and set up containment measures, with HazMat teams coordinating the capture and removal of the contained fuel. The response was documented by Toronto Fire Services on social media just before 5:30 p.m.
No injuries or broader operational disruptions were reported.
