Leafs Shake Up Front Office Again

John Chayka continues reshaping Toronto's hockey ops with the departure of Brandon Pridham, a 12-year veteran of the organization.

The Toronto Maple Leafs aren't done tearing things apart. Brandon Pridham, who spent 12 years building the club's backend operations and became one of the organization's most influential figures, is out. Assistant GM Derek Clancey is also leaving. The departures come as part of a larger summer overhaul under new GM John Chayka, who's already replaced Brad Treliving and is clearly charting a different course for the franchise. It's a gutsy move—Pridham was genuinely respected around the league—but Chayka's betting the team needs a total reset to finally get over the playoff hump. Whether this much turnover translates to actual progress on the ice remains the real question.
