Male found dead in Aurora home; 6 in custody

A male was found dead inside an Aurora home Wednesday after York Regional Police responded to a call for help. Six people have been taken into custody in connection with the death.

Officers were called to a residence near Wellington Street East and Walton Drive, east of Yonge Street, around 2:45 p.m. The male was discovered inside suffering from significant trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been laid at this point. Homicide investigators have been called in, and police said an update was expected Wednesday evening.
