A third suspect wanted since 2022 for a fatal Etobicoke shooting has been arrested, Toronto Police confirmed in response to questions HighOnCity raised about the case.
Minyali Wur, 24, and Chudier Reat, 20, were killed in the January 2022 shooting. The suspect was located by Windsor Police Service during an unrelated investigation.
When asked why the arrest took nearly four years, Toronto Police Media Relations Officer Viktor Sarudi said efforts to locate the accused "remained ongoing for the last four years." Police declined to disclose specific investigative steps, citing future court proceedings.
Toronto Police did not provide details about the separate investigation that led to the arrest, referring those questions to Windsor Police.
