One of two bridges the Ontario Line subway is building over the Don River and Don Valley Parkway will be as tall as a 10-storey building when complete.
The Don Valley Crossing, a smaller arch bridge, will carry elevated rail and be supported by five piers rising 32 metres above the valley floor. In the past year, construction progressed from initial foundations to rising concrete supports, Metrolinx said Wednesday.
