Seven arrested in fatal Etobicoke apartment shooting

Toronto police have arrested seven more suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of Anthony Taylor, 28, in an Etobicoke apartment on May 31.
Taylor suffered a single gunshot wound in a Toronto Community Housing building near Queen's Plate Drive and Rexdale Boulevard at approximately 8 p.m. and died at the scene. Police arrested and charged a 30-year-old with second-degree murder shortly after the killing.
All seven newly arrested male suspects have been charged with second-degree murder. Two were also charged with possession of a firearm without a licence and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm.
The arrests followed the release of the suspects' names, descriptions, and photos, along with Canada-wide warrants issued this week. Six of the men are from Toronto, and one is from Mississauga. Four are 23 years old, one is 24, one is 30, and one is 35. They appeared in court Friday morning.
Police continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
