Sunday's clear and warm—catch the light while it lasts.

Morning. It's Sunday and the weather's on your side—partly cloudy, 16 degrees, and UV's running high at 7.0, so sunscreen if you're heading out for the day. You've got a solid 15 and a half hours of daylight, and the sun won't dip till 9:09 PM, so there's real time to work with.

If you're heading across town on the 101 Lougheed, know there's a detour running all week—they've got you looping through 6th and Armstrong before you get back on route. Nothing missed, just a different path. Same story on the 321 if you're heading out to White Rock way after 9 PM this week.

On the local front, there's movement on a few things worth noting. New Westminster's got some good news for folks still looking for missing cats from the Pinecrest Manor fire—they're offering real support. And if you've been wondering about a fancy observation deck coming to Van, word is Magnicity from Paris is exploring it as their next big move.

Food-wise, there's some solid openings. Unscripted Coffee just landed downtown and they're doing something a bit different—the community votes on their seasonal menu, so you get a say. Over on the Drive, Pax Romana's closing their current spot before they pop up somewhere new on the same street, so if you're a regular, watch for the move. And if you're keen on classical European cooking, Chef Stefan Hartmann's brought that to Bacchus.

Tonight's got options. If you're into live music, there's Nation of Language at the Commodore, or Jimmy Eat World doing a 25-year anniversary run of *Bleed American* up at UBC's Thunderbird Centre—that's the one if you want the full room experience. Comedy's happening at Rick Bronson's if that's more your speed, and there's a watch party for Spain vs Argentina at The Pearl at noon if football's your thing.

If theatre's calling, *Come From Away* is on at the Stanley this afternoon at 2 PM. And if you want to stay loose and see where the day takes you, the parks will be solid for the next few hours before clouds move in later.

Sundays are made for this kind of weather. Get out there.
